Event Policy

To ensure a positive outcome for all concerned we have developed the following policies for weddings and other events.

Church Space

Please respect our building and its historic fabric. No food and beverages are allowed in the sanctuary of the church unless food service is part of your contract.

Balcony

Due to liability reasons, the balcony is to be used only by organists, musicians, and photographers. No seating is allowed in the balcony.

Music

Please inform the event coordinator of your music and setup before your event. If you plan on having live music and your musicians need rehearsal time, there will be an additional $50.00 an hour charge. If you wish to have Two Saints Events provide live music, please contact us.

Candles

Dripless and smokeless candles must be used. Candles cannot be placed in the pews. Candles in glass holders are permitted on the small selves below the windows.

Flowers

Fully assembled flower arrangements must be delivered during your time block, not before. Do not use glue or tack flowers to pews, chairs or walls. Please arrange to have all decorations removed from the church after the event.

Kitchen

If the use of the kitchen is in your contract, it must be cleaned after the event. A $100.00 cleaning fee will be charged if kitchen not cleaned.

Handicapped Accessibility

There is a handicap lift in the front of the church to access the restrooms on the floor below. Please inform the event coordinator if someone will need elevator service. 

Personal Items

Neither Two Saints Events, Friends of Historic Two Saints, nor the Episcopal Church of St. Luke & St. Simon Cyrene are responsible in any way for stolen, misplaced or damaged items.

Parking instructions will be given by the event coordinator at the time of a deposit payment.

Photography

Photos and videotaping are allowed for noncommercial purposes.

Vendors

All vendors working at Two Saints are required to have liability insurance and must show proof of insurance to the event coordinator if asked. Please ask your potential vendors if they have the proper insurance. 

Clergy

Our event space is nondenominational. We welcome all faiths and all clergy. We also allow judges and justices of the peace to perform ceremonies. 

Weddings and Event Times

Please note: we are an inclusive organization that welcomes all.

The church is available for events:

Monday - Saturday from 9am - 10pm, except for church holidays.

Weddings are booked as four hour blocks of time. Three hours on the day of the ceremony and a one hour rehearsal the day before. 

Time blocks for other types of events should be worked out with the coordinator (contact him here .)

Rehearsals

It is important that you have the ceremony planned before arriving at your rehearsal. Please have the people in your wedding party arrive promptly. The person officiating at the ceremony is responsible for conducting the rehearsal.  

Fees, Deposits, Payments

There is a $200.00 deposit at the time of the booking of your event. Your deposit will be applied to your final bill. Payment of final bill must be paid six weeks before your event. If you need to cancel your event, please call the event coordinator as soon as possible. No refunds of deposits for cancelled events. One alternative date and time is allowed if the date is available. If any legal expenses are incurred by Two Saints Events/Friends of Historic Two Saints Inc. regarding collection of your bill, you will be charged for all legal expenses. Gratuities to the event coordinator are left to the discretion of the hosts and celebrants.

Fees

Weddings $800.00  

Winter weddings $850.00

Weddings with reception on site $1,100.00

Parish Hall rental $30.00 per hour

Parish Hall rental with kitchen use $40.00 per hour

Church Sanctuary event (non-wedding) $75.00 per hour
